Robin & Skip: Thank you so much for a once in a life time experience. The fishing was fantastic and the bear hunting was close! Thank you for making us part of your family and we'll be back. --Doug & Kathy
Located on the edge of the Chugach
National Forest. Cordova is a true
sportsman's paradise to world class salmon fishing.
There is a wide range of
activities from spring and fall bear hunting, the
shorebird festival in May, world-class salmon and
halibut fishing May-Sept, and exceptional waterfowl and Blacktail deer hunting in the fall.
Our
cabins are nestled in the evergreen forest right on
the waters' edge and the woods are full of wildlife
and the waters are full of fish! Cordova is
widely known for it's abundance of wildlife including
brown and black bear, moose, deer, mountain goats, eagles,
shorebirds, otters, various species of salmon, and
more. The Prince William Sound truly is a
sportsman's paradise.
Whether it's fly
fishing for sockeye salmon, hunting for bear,
waiting quietly in the woods for a deer or moose to
walk by... you'll find it all when you stay at the
Eyak River Lodge.
Cordova is a perfect vacation spot
for the family, especially in the summer months of
June and July where there is plenty of fun exciting
activities to do such as hiking, canoeing, kayaking
in the river...etc... It's all here!
Also here at the cabins is a
place for campfires, lighting off fireworks,
swimming , and GI JOE Island is located right across
from the cabins, it is sandy and shallow water...
and a great place for campfires and picnics!
