Hiking

Alaska is a hikers dream!   You will not find better hiking than in the mountains nestled in Cordova, Alaska where there is over 40 miles of well maintained hiking trails to choose from.

Many of the trails wind alongside Prince William Sound, highlighting the wildlife all around you. Bird watching, eagles soaring, and hopefully not too close to some bear sightings. There is no telling what you might see!  (Be sure to pick up bear spray before your hike!) 

In Cordova, you will find hikes for every likes, from easy, moderate to strenuous.  Whether you want to go out with the family and have a picnic and come back to the Alaska Eyak River Lodge or do a more strenuous overnight hike, there is something for everyone!   Don't forget to bring your camera!
